Investing In Key Pieces
Who wouldn’t fall head over heels once they find the perfect pair of nude wedges?
We girls like to invest in key pieces and a pair of neutral heels should never be an exception to our wardrobe. I personally am willing to spend a lot on pieces that I know I’ll be wearing a lot. Of course, if it’s something expensive that I’m going to buy, I make sure that it’s of high quality and durable. Most of us have shoe fetishes and I definitely don’t exclude myself.
The right pair of shoes will go with just about any outfit and is perfect all year round. I have found that nude is a great color to keep as a wardrobe staple for a lot of reasons.
Why Nude Colored Shoes?
You may be wondering why I’m so keen on convincing you to get a pair in this fabulous color. If you haven’t noticed, this trend has been creating in a buzz in the Hollywood scene. If you are a keen observer, you will see that stars like Kate Moss, Rihanna, Cameron Diaz and a lot more are very loyal to their neutral pairs. You see them flashing their neutral pairs on the road and even on the red carpet.
Neutral pieces are perfect for the reason that this color goes with just about anything. Suffice it to say that getting a color like this may be the safest fashion choice you will ever make because you can get away with the loudest colored outfits if you only have this pair to balance the look. The ways to style nude-colored shoes are endless.
Not only this, it also has the magical effect of making your legs appear endless. Not exactly magical, but if you choose the right color, it can go well with your skin tone and make your legs look more slender. And who doesn’t want that?
Pointed Versus Round Toe
Neutral shoes come in a lot of shades and styles. When it comes to shade, be sure to choose one that’s possibly closest to your skin. Wearing nude shades that are too dark or light on your feet may look awkward.
Wedges that come in a pointy pump style are best for formal occasions. This shoe style is classic and timeless. Pointy heels or peep toe wedges are perfect even for casual outfits. A pair of shorts and a collared blouse will go well with this style. But you can also wear it with a mini dress when going to a party or a similar occasion that requires you to wear something semi-formal.
Round toe pumps, on the other hand, look very chic and are very flattering for any frame. A conservative pair of wedges with a neutral color like beige goes well with corporate attires. Not only do they look proper for the office, but they are also super comfortable to walk in.
Take Your Pick
The variety of shoe styles available in stores makes it hard to decide which pieces to invest in. If you’re on a tight budget, you have to be wise with spending. If you’re a thrift girl like me, be sure to spend the bulk of your shopping money for those pieces that you can see yourself wearing for a lot of occasions. Try to imagine the clothes you have in your closet and see if that pair actually goes with most of the clothes that you have. If it’s a pair of nude color shoes that can go well with just about any outfit, then I assure you it’s a worth buy.
